Hang out.



Like squatting I think we should do more of this! Swinging and hanging from your arms is the natural movement most missing from our daily lives. When was the last time you tried? This full-gravitational pull requires every muscle and every joint to pitch in to hold whatever is below it and If you hold a hang for a bit it will really stretch just about everything that interacts with the shoulder girdle. I find it a brilliant preparation for a yoga sequence/workout/play that requires good shoulder mobility.

It’s a full-body phenomenon that, let’s face it, our aching shoulders are crying out for. You'll get used to the hand blisters, I promise : )
